I have been driving my horses (norwegian fjords) for over a year now and would like to move up from the sulky I have been using to train. We are building a new home on 220 acres this fall and have open meadows and flat pasture land. I am looking to purcase a cart that can be used on this ground (was hayfield grounds before but have been maintaining as pasture so can be bumpy here and there but no rocks) and can be used with one or two horses. They are 15 hh. You have so many carts, it is hard for us beginners to choose. And they all look good. What would you recommend? I would like something that may be competition ready if I decide to go that route in future. But mostly want something sturdy (gravel roads, pasture, hayfields, etc) and reliable to train on, go around the farm and/ortake friends for a ride.
      Can you help?
